COMPUTER PROGRAMMING

 PURPOSE
To train technical staff who have learnt and assimilated the related concepts and terminology in the field of information processing technologies, who have the ability to recognise and apply new systems needed in this sector, who have the ability to solve problems that will arise in software and hardware, who have the ability to produce new software, who have the equipment to meet the needs of the sector quickly, who have the knowledge to maintain, repair and operate the information processing system in the enterprise, who can take part in work preparation, design and operating systems, including quality assurance.

OBJECTIVE
To educate individuals who have sufficient background in mathematics, science and related subjects, who can interpret and evaluate data, identify problems, carry out professional plans and projects and develop solutions by using the basic knowledge and skills acquired in the field. To train technical staff who have the necessary software and hardware competencies for applications related to the field, who can do programming, who have web design competencies, who know and apply all kinds of graphics - animation and desktop programs, who can use other techniques, tools and information technologies effectively, who can produce solutions to unforeseen problems encountered in applications, who can take responsibility in working groups or have the ability to work individually, who can communicate effectively and have foreign language knowledge at a level that can follow innovations in the field. 
In addition; To educate individuals who are respectful to historical and social values, have social responsibility, have universal, social and professional ethics awareness, follow the developments in science and technology with the awareness of the necessity of lifelong learning and constantly renew themselves, have knowledge and awareness of occupational safety, occupational health and environmental protection, follow the work done in the industry and service sector and have the ability to apply for their profession.
